We collect the following types of data (collectively, referred to as “Data”):
Spectrums uses phone numbers, emails or social media accounts to authenticate each user. Upon registration, you will receive a number known as your Spectrum Identification, your (SID), that is unique to you. Sharing this number with others will make your spectrum of networks instantly accessible through the Spectrums website and/or Spectrums’ mobile applications. We may collect Personal Data from you such as your photo, name, location, age, occupation, about, interests, links that associate networks, websites, applications, companies and any other information you voluntarily add to your profile on the Spectrums website or is generated by your use of Spectrums.
If you provide us with feedback or contact us via email for support at firstname.lastname@example.org, we will collect your name, SID and email address as well as any other information included in the email, to respond to you effectively. For technical support, we may request additional information from you.
You can share your Spectrums profile to any application, website or network. In doing so, you've made connecting to others and increasing engagement across your digital portfolio easier, more effective and complete.
Spectrums uses Amazon Web Services and MongoDB for storing, processing and transferring Data, content and information. Amazon has multiple data centres located in different countries around the globe.
We will collect an ID that is unique to the mobile device (Device ID) on which you installed the Spectrums application. For example, if you installed Spectrums on your iPhone, we store your UDID (unique device identifier). We may create a hashed version of your device ID and use it to log you into your account. We may store your device ID and/or your hashed device ID with other information we collect about you such as your profile information, networks in your spectrum and messages to maintain backend organization and troubleshooting in the event of any issues.
You can turn cookies off in your web browser, but if you do, Spectrums may not work correctly, and in some cases, you may not be able to log into Spectrums at all.
We may create Anonymous Data records from Personal Data by excluding information (such as your name) that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We use this Anonymous Data to analyze request and usage patterns so that we may enhance our service. Spectrums reserves the right to use Anonymous Data for any purpose and disclose Anonymous Data to third parties at its sole discretion.
You understand that when you use the Spectrums website and app, as a default, your profile information defined above is public and other users of the Spectrums website and app can see your Spectrum page. Do not include private information on your profile that you do not want to be viewed publicly. You can choose to add all your networks but choose some to be public or private. By agreeing to this policy, you are giving consent to the disclosure of your profile information as described above.
You may change specific fields of your profile information by editing your profile on the Spectrums platforms. You may request deletion of your Personal Data by us, but please note that we may be legally required to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain period, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives.
